Dear members,

May the joy of the Holiday Season brings peace and love to our hearts!

How nice to enter December which in spite of its darkness brings to us special feelings when we light our candles and fireplaces to warm cosy evenings!

During the busy days in the beginning of this holiday season, we can always find
moments of relaxation when, looking through the windows, we see the snow falling
slowly and graciously outside. This was one of my first impressions of the winter season in Sweden, an amazing experience!

And what lovely moments we have had attending the different programs offered in
November! The oyster tasting at our luncheon was a success, especially for the beginners in eating these delicatessen. Thanks Martina for this program and thanks also Sarmite Ghaffarpour for the highly appreciated evening cocktail at you home.

Just coming home from the Newcomer’s Coffee Morning, I have in mind the nice moments we had together at the American Ambassador’s residence. I want to heartily thank our hostess, Mrs. Judy Wood, for generously opening her lovely home for our members. Thanks also to our member Karin Ljungman for showing us her beautifu alpaca collection. Something for a future tour?

Looking forward, we have our December luncheon which will be supported by the Philippines Embassy. We thank very much the Ambassador Mrs. Maria Zeneida Angara
Collinson and her team at the Embassy for kindly giving us a glimpse of her country’s Christmas festivities. Come and let’s celebrate it and together help Gawad Kalinga an organisation that builds homes for thousands of homeless families.

Please pay attention to the front page of this edition of the Bulletin. You will see that it is valid for December and January. This is a new experience as many of us are away for Christmas and New Years vacation. Keep your Bulletin, browse it carefully, look for the programs prepared for December and January and make your plans
for January already before the holidays. Book already the 13th of January for our first luncheon at Läkaresällkapet beautiful premises.
