Democrats Abroad Sweden

We represent the Democratic Party for US citizens living in Sweden. Our members influence party affairs and policy, participate in voter outreach and registration, and are committed to change America by voting Democratic. We worked passionately to elect a Democratic Congress and  elect Barack Obama the next President of the United States.  We won!

Our parent organization, Democrats Abroad (DA) is the official Democratic Party organization for the millions of American citizens who live outside the United States of America. DA is recognized as a “state” committee by the Democratic National Committee, is represented on the DNC by eight members, and sends voting delegates to the Democratic National Convention. Besides our official function as a local arm of Democrats Abroad and the Democratic National Committee, we also organize social events and meetings for expatriate Americans interested in US politics. We have a very active voter registration effort, as well as outreach to inform Americans about important issues and DA activities in Sweden. Now it is easier than ever to support DASweden!
